It seems the 24 hours we have a day are never enough for meeting the expanding demands of our work and private lives. On a broader scale, it seems we’re also racing against the clock on global challenges such as climate change and growing economic disparity.
TEDWomen 2016 will be convening thought leaders on these topics in San Francisco, October 26-28, 2016.
In conjunction with this exciting event, TEDxMenloParkWomen 2016 will take place October 27, 2016 in the Menlo Park area. It will offer a shared interactive experience for people in the Bay Area who aren’t attending the TEDWomen event in San Francisco.
TEDxMenloParkWomen 2016 will provide live streaming of the main event’s speakers and plenty of opportunity to connect with attendees.
We want to hear your voice! Because isn't it about time? In facilitated discussions, we’ll explore the conventions and challenges of time. We will ask the hard questions.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMenloParkWomen, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMenloParkWomen event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
